Our Edmonton client is seeking an practiced Systems Analyst to support capital projects. The prosperous candidate will be responsible for supporting the existing code base, providing operational support, and developing enhancements to the system. The candidate should be a fast learner with an aptitude for knowledge and maintaining complex systems.

Scope of Work

• SA work for the web / mobile development team
• Responsible for designing, developing, documenting and maintaining applications
• Actively take part in our Agile delivery by:
• Contributing during sprint planning meetings
• Participating in everyday stand-ups
• Accepting and acting on feedback from end-users
• Providing constructive feedback through sprint retrospectives

Mandatory expertiseet

• Completion of a 4-year Computer Science or Engineering degree, or a 2-year Computer Engineering/System Technology diploma.
• Minimum 4 years of professional practice in application development.
• Broad knowledge of computer systems technology and design techniques.
• Minimum two (2) years of professional practice in web application development.
• Minimum one (1) year of analysis and design practice for .NET web applications.
• Minimum one (1) year of analysis and design practice for mobile applications.

Preferred expertiseet

• 3 years' practice working with .NET/.NET core, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and at least one popular JS framework (React, Angular, Vue, etc.)
• 3 years' practice working with web communication protocols such as REST, SOAP, Web Sockets
• 3 years' practice working with SQL and/or NoSQL databases
• practice with Agile product delivery
• Strong communication expertise. The capability to explain complex technical issues to both your peers and your stakeholders.
• practice with native iOS development
• practice with Azure Cloud technologies
• practice working with CI/CD Pipelines (Jenkins, Azure, CircleCI, etc.)
• practice with TDD methodologies (VSTest, Jest, Mocha, Puppeteer)

Start Date: ASAP - February 1, 2020 start date
End Date: August 1, 2020, with the possibility for extension
