Facility Maintenance Tech 1 (Custodian)Insures a clean sanitary environment for all program participants and staff. Carries out the day to day cleaning, minor repairs as assigned, and major unit cleaning on a continuous rotating basis. Works independently or with a work group as established to accomplish assigned tasks. Works to the high standards of professionalism expected from all department employeesResponsibilities: » Performs assigned cleaning tasks efficiently and in a professional manner » Performs minor maintenance work as assigned » Represents the department in a positive manner at all times » Participation in seasonal on-call snow & ice removal » To respond to snow team call when notified (see snow team procedures) General Requirements: » High school diploma/GED and sufficient practice to effectively perform the functions of the position this job offer description in no way states or implies that the responsibilities listed are the only tasks to be performed by the person filling this job offer.
