Under the general direction of the Fire Chief, the Fire Inspector is responsible for conducting fire inspections of public and private buildings and structures to ensure compliance with the Fire Services Act and Regulations and Fire avoidance Bylaws. The incumbent will be appointed as a Local adjunct to the Fire Commissioner under the Fire Services Act.
