Overtime occasionally may be required from 45-48 hrs and would be paid at 1.5 x per hour. Two days off per week- Sat/Sun.One year of significant professional toddler care/baby care practice required. Minimum of Equivalent Canadian High School diploma required. Job hours begin at 7:30am and finish at 5:30 pm. Mid day breaks. Must be flexible. Job located in Etobicoke (Lawrence & Royal York) English language spoken and written, required. Work to take place in employers home. Public transportation is available expertise required--Supervise & care for children in employer's residence; bathe, dress & feed children; prepare formulas & change diapers for babies; plan, prepare & serve meals for children; light housekeeping; supervise children's activities, such as meals & rest periods, as instructed by employer; maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home; instruct children in personal hygiene; tend to the emotional well-being of children & support their social development; discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents; organize & participate in activities such as games, crafts, reading & outings; Good communication and decision making expertise are essential.
