This is a maintenance/repair job - not cleaning! The Facilities Maintenance Worker will be performing a variety of skilled work to assist with the everyday maintenance, such as carpentry, painting, repairs, basic plumbing and electrical work, and preventative maintenance, all over the facility.In order to be prosperous, the Building and Facilities Maintenance Technician must: » Have previous work related practice, preferably repairing appliances » Have expertise of trades related to building maintenance and repair » Be able to communicate effectively and work independently to accomplish a large amount of tasks » Have expertise of safety hazards and precautions » Have HS Diploma or equivalent, » Clean and valid driver’s license The Facilities Maintenance Worker must be able to lift 50lbs, stand on their feet for long periods, have good manual dexterity and strong attention to detail. This is a temp-to-hire, first shift position, Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm.
