DBA Raffles Transportation Group. A Long Haul trucking company located in Surrey, BC that has been in business for 10 years and serving Canada and U.S.A. It provides refrigerated and non- refrigerated freight delivery across Canada and USA and currently expanding services. we At Presenthave an opening for 2 Dispatchers to coordinate the activities of drivers to maximize productivity, and assure prompt and effective service to customers. Your job responsibilities may include: -Assigning call in accounts, missed stops and new customers to drivers located upon designated route and driver location. -Courteously interacting with customers and/or the general public. -capability to multi-task, be self- motivated and able to work under pressure. -Updating, preparing, and dispatching the everyday route schedule. -Reporting driver concerns to appropriate department or manager for resolution. -Maintaining the dispatch or service log to document pick-ups (scheduled, missed stops, extra pick-ups, etc.) route completions, and driver locations. -Scheduling deliveries, and setting up appointments with shipping docks. -Various other tasks as requested. General Requirements: -At least two years of practice as a Long Haul Trucking dispatcher -Excellent Familiarity with Long Haul trucking Industry. -Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) -High school diploma/Degree -Excellent communication in English Language both written and verbal.
