Interested in joining a large team leading the development and governance of IT foundations, which are central to Desjardins Group's modernization efforts? Desjardins is going digital and speeding up its IT transformation by implementing IT foundations, cloud platforms, tools and practices that will allow us to offer innovative, optimal and sustainable business solutions in a coordinated way that ensures data security. Within this division, our team is responsible for accelerating the organization's modernization efforts through scalable and sustainable foundations that are easy to use and wisely integrated into business solutions. As an architect and manager of development, quality and continuous delivery services, you ensure that their development is in line with the organization's strategies and priorities. You ensure that these services meet business project needs. You therefore work closely with Enterprise Architecture, Information Security and your IT and business partners to complete your roadmap and develop flowcharts to ensure the sound use of these business services. In product mode, you manage the corresponding backlog for the Agile SAFe delivery teams. Lastly, you provide tools and coaching to the designers of the solutions underlying your areas of responsibility. You serve as expert advisor and subject matter expert, as well as a resource person and coach for senior management and decision making bodies. The nature of the initiatives requires broad skills in several technology fields, covering aspects pertaining to processes, data, applications and infrastructure. These require analysis and an overall, in-depth knowledge of the organization and its strategic priorities. Coordination is critical, so you frequently interact with stakeholders. Highly developed interpersonal skills are therefore essential. General Information on the Position Main responsibilities » Establish the strategic vision and annual priorities for development, quality and continuous delivery services while incorporating the organization's priorities, business needs and suppliers' roadmap. » Serve as an expert advisor for projects and strategic initiatives whose scope and impact are significant and may be felt across Desjardins Group. » Advise and assist business partners and specialists with strategic initiatives. Organize, manage and deliver guidelines, as needed, on specific technical subjects requiring the consensus of multiple stakeholders. » Develop and update policies, standards, architecture targets and technology solutions to support strategic initiatives. » Explore and identify innovations and participate in proofs of concept. » Analyze major issues and make recommendations to the decision-making bodies and committees concerned. » Represent your unit in dealings with senior management committees and decision-making bodies. » Represent Desjardins when negotiating and committing to agreements with partners or external organizations.
