Start Date of Employment (Approx.): As soon as possible Positions Available: 25 NOC GROUP: Transport Truck Drivers (2011,2016: 7511, NOC 2006: 7411) NOC listing title: Long Haul Truck Driver Job Location(s): 124 Commercial Road Bolton, ON Canada L7E 1K4 Listing description World Wide Carriers Ltd. is seeking 25 Long haul truck driver who can perform following tasks: » Operate and drive the long-haul trucks to transport the goods to and from the required destination. » Must follow all the safety procedure required to transport the goods and should ensure that the cargo is properly secure. » Plan the trips and have all the necessary documents that are needed to transport the goods. » Must perform inspection of the vehicle including the systems, the equipment and accessories such as tires, lights and brakes before, during and after the trips. » Maintain logbooks manually or electronically which include hours of service provided, distance travelled and fuel consumption. » Able to manage bills of freight » Able to communicate to the drivers, dispatcher and customers by using the communication system and other on- board computer. » Able to do roadside repairs when required and may drive as part of team. suitable education Completion of Secondary school is required practice: No previous practice is required. Requirements: Driver’s License (Class AZ) Effective communication expertise, expertise of first aid is an asset. Candidate should be willing to work all shifts.
